Benefits of House Calls: 
The Dr. and staff of Mobile Veterinary Practice believe house calls are beneficial for our clients and patients. House calls eliminate the anxiety and car sickness some pets experience in the car and the subsequent wait in a noisy and crowded waiting room. House calls also help keep our client’s stress levels down since they do not have to worry about busy traffic or inclement weather. Our house call services are especially helpful for clients with multiple pets, parents with small children, owners who have a busy schedule, or owners who aren’t able to drive. House calls eliminate pet fur from accumulating in your car and eliminate the risk that your pet will be exposed to other sick pets in a waiting room. And best of all, when your pet is done with their appointment, they can simply be escorted back into their home environment to carry on with their daily routine!
To keep our schedule running smoothly and on time, we do ask that you schedule an appointment in advance. However, we realize injuries and sicknesses cannot be planned for, and therefore we do try to allow for time in our schedule to accommodate last minute appointment requests. Being mobile also provides us with some unique scheduling challenges since we must allot time for traffic and do experience occasional weather related delays. Therefore, we schedule our appointments within a two to three hour window instead of scheduling a specific time. This helps us arrive at our appointments in a timely manner, even if we’ve had to coax Fluffy out from under the couch or chase Rex around the back yard. If your schedule requires a more specific time frame, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you.
